John 21.15-23 - Steve McGuire

 

Do you feel it yet? According to the calendar, we are already three Sundays removed from Easter Sunday and certainly any sentiment less than genuine Christian conviction about the significance of the day has worn off.  Yet, those who are truly alive in Christ know that they live only because he lives in them!  So the resurrection is every bit as crucial now as it was on that early Jerusalem morning in 30 a.d.  Jesus’ disciples, some of them writers of the New Testament, were still talking about it 30 to 60 years later, declaring it to be the most important event ever to have happened. I pray that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is becoming for each of you more and more clear; and that you are allowing it to define more and more of who and what you are.
