How do you come down from such a spiritual high as Easter? First of all, don’t come down. I am not talking about the emotions that may go with the radical turn from the hopelessness and darkness of death to the surprise and bright light of new life. As you live that new life, the emotional high may change. But you and I need to remain in the orbit of the Easter glory. Think about it. Post-Easter does not mean we return to the same old gray and dingy life we had before. Christ’s presence and ability to do fresh new things has not subsided. So, we need to know how to continue--how to move ahead in living the transformed life. Be encouraged. Go on living in and living out the Easter story of Jesus Christ.
