John 12.12-26 - Steve McGuire

 

During the season of Lent, we have said much about openness to God, examination, repentance, and submission to his will.  Jesus leads us down the path of such holy pursuit.  So, we have followed Jesus--not just the story that is about him.  We now enter the Passion Week, the week in which his mission from God will reach its climax in several final and decisive acts. If we dare, we will follow him again to the place of his ultimate surrender.  I pray that we will be able to stay with Jesus for that final push when all of the prayer, purpose, and energy are poured into completing the Father’s will.  As he has been saying to us all along this journey, we hear him say again, “Come and see ...”
